Ministers shoot for the moon and sometimes hit the top of the barn. It is a daunting challenge perhaps summed up by a quote attributed to Mark Twain: “A man carrying two cats down the street with their tails tied together is getting ten times the experience in carrying cats as the man watching him.” How do we awaken from the lie of separation?
A Soup Supper Invitation
Our congregation has been invited by the Inclusion Community to join them for a Soup Supper this Sunday, Jan. 4, at 5 p.m. The Community meets at The Hut, which is behind the Cornelius Presbyterian Church at 21209 Catawba Ave., Cornelius. There is no cost and we do not have to bring anything — they would just like to get to know us since we share many values.
