Dec. 28 – Rev. Pat Jobe: ‘Eat, Drink and be Merry’
On the last Sunday of both the calendar year and the church year it’s important to again take stock, feel some gratitude even for those among us who believe there is nobody to whom to be grateful. Unitarian Universalists in the modern world honor all kinds of celebrations, holy days, holidays and combinations thereof. We will have just passed Christmas and the burning of the Yule Log by adherents of the nature-based religions. In a few more days, there will be eating, drinking and merrymaking to welcome the new year.
