The Humanist Group will have its quarterly meeting at the Davidson Quaker Meeting House on Sunday, Sept. 7. Rev. Amy Brooks of GreenFaith, an interdenominational ecology group, will be the guest speaker in advance of Sun Day, a celebration of clean energy, to be observed Sept. 19-21.

Volunteers are needed for trash pickup on Concord road between Main Street and the traffic circle. The N.C. Department of Transportation has recognized Unitarians of Lake Norman for 15 years of service to the program. Gathering place TBA. Organized by Jim Arnold.
