Aug. 2 – Rev. Pat Jobe: ‘Welcome Back and a Confession’
In the Third Century, St. Augustine of Hippo came up with an awful, hateful, dehumanizing idea called “original sin.” Although the handle cannot be found in the original Christian writings, the hellfire and damnation crowd picked it up and ran with it for the next 1,700 years. Bummer!
The Rev. Pat Jobe joined our Fellowship on Aug. 1, 2020. He is married to his lovely spouse Gabe and is an enthusiastic supporter of UU Lake Norman, FeedNC, Heart of the Carolinas UU Animal Ministry, the Barefoot Ministry, and all work done by UUs in our area.
