After visiting a few times, we hope you will decide to make this congregation your spiritual home. We welcome into membership anyone 16 years or older who embraces the ideals of our mission and the Principles and Purposes of the UUA.
When you become a member, you are part of building a growing and evolving Fellowship. Our community is one of give and take, supporting and nurturing, exploring and growing.
Unitarian congregations operate on democratic principles with strong lay leadership and participation.
Becoming a member allows you to vote on congregational matters, elect officers to the Board, (or become one yourself!), and get involved on committees. Your involvement helps shape the congregation’s identity, mission, and future.
Responsibilities of Membership
We need your presence.
By coming together in worship, participating in special gatherings, and joining in service to the community, you help us create a dynamic, spiritual home that will enrich each of our lives and the community at large.
Your ideas and energy make a difference.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our congregation and being involved lets you get to know other members and friends. Involvement in fellowship events, music, community service and outreach, stewardship, worship and spiritual exploration give opportunities for personal growth and strengthen our community as a whole.
Stewardship.
Financial commitments from our members enable us to set a budget so we can maintain our meeting space, pay our staff, support programming, and expand our community outreach. Our Fellowship is nurtured and invigorated when we live with a spirit of gratitude and generosity. Providing support for our Fellowship is part of a spiritual practice that says we take care of institutions that have an important place in our lives.

What Steps Do I Need to Take?
When you are ready to join, let us know by talking with our minister, Rev. Pat Jobe and the Board President, Jim Arnold or Vice President, Greg Davis. Members are invited to Sign the Membership Book and are asked to make a pledge of support and, if comfortable, share their information in our directory.
If you are already a UU and are relocating from another congregation, you are welcome to sign the membership book and have your membership transferred after speaking to a board member or Rev. Jobe
