March 15 – Neal Jones: ‘What Love Is and Isn’t’
All religions promote love, but what exactly is love? Let’s examine what real love looks like, as opposed to four of its impostors.
Rev. Dr. Neal Jones is a clinical psychologist for the Pisgah Institute in Asheville, though he lives in Columbia, S.C. He earned his B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University, his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary and his doctorate in psychology from Baylor University. He has served as the minister of five congregations in the Carolinas, Texas, and Pennsylvania. He has also served as chair of the national Board of Trustees of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. He presently serves on the national Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Humanist Association.
