Aug. 24 – Rev. Pat Jobe: ‘How Do We Support Each other?’
Reverend Pat will look at the delicate work of supporting vulnerability. Brené Brown has made a cottage industry of promoting vulnerability. Her TED talks are so popular she can hardly walk through her local grocery store without having someone say, “Hey, you’re that vulnerability lady.” Is it something we can do for each other?
Alan Perkinson and Jim Price will lead the children’s Spiritual Education program this Sunday. We will look at carpentry, talk generally about how houses are built, look at some tools and use them. It will be hands-on and was popular with the boys and girls the last time we did this.
