Adult Spiritual Education

Rise Up; The Goddess Gatherings – A year-long adult feminine ‘sheology’ program. Whether you believe in the actual existence of goddesses or not, powerful feminine entities have existed around the world for centuries and can help women (individuals who identify as female) step into more power.

Why Goddess Gatherings?
In my personal experience, learning about different goddesses has helped me to move into a more confident and authentic state of myself. Learning about the goddesses is empowering in and of itself, but doing so with a group of ladies helps us all to recognize our own innate power.
The gathering part is important because one of the most powerful things a woman can do is have a group of trusted women witness her in her powerful vulnerability and reciprocate that support for another.

Why Now?
With enthusiasm- This is our time to readjust. We have been living in a society where one-half of human existence is atrophied. Our symbiotic connection to the earth has long fallen away to hierarchies and exploitation. Traditions in society and many modern religions work to quiet and devalue feminine expression. It is time to transcend. Not to kill off the Patriarchal God but to revive the Goddess, powerful yet nurturing and connected to the Earth. Harmony within the self, among selves, in society, and in nature, not to be taken for granted or dominated. Imagine growing up in a world where the divine was feminine.

Are you interested in exploring feminine religious history and issues? Would you like to regularly commune with like-minded women to help heal our wounds, build each other up, and collaborate on bettering our communities? Don’t keep this a secret. Please tell a sister… it’s time to gather.

The program will be held monthly at 4:30 pm- 6:30 pm at 625 South Street, Davidson, NC 28036
