DESCRIPTION:Join us every Friday at 11:00 am for our virtual Friday Action Hour! I cannot tell you enough how wonderful our Friday Action Hour team is. We have written thousands of emails\, calls\, and letters to the editor. We unite our voices and demand change\, equality\, and justice. Not only that\, there is some amazing fellowship that happens in this group. If you want to be where it’s happening\, this is your chance. All are welcome! \n\n\n\nIf you cannot make it to the Friday Action Hour\, we have a Google Doc with micro-actions of the week. Some take less than a minute or two to complete. They can be found on our Google Doc and are updated each Friday.

DESCRIPTION:Heart of the Carolinas UU Animal Ministry will be building dog houses for beloved dogs. We have all the tools you will need and a friendly group of people to teach you everything you need to know. Just show up and be prepared to have a great time and meet some new people. Organized by Claudia Perkinson. You can reach her by email or by filling out a Contact Form. \n\n\n\nFence builds will resume in mid-May\, look back here for details. If you have not been to a fence build in a while\, please join us this Saturday.  We have some new “tricks” that we have learned and a build is usually completed by 11:30 a.m. It’s a great way to help those dogs (and their humans) and spend quality time with like-minded animal lovers. We usually go out to lunch after we complete our build\, so feel free to join us. \n\n\n\nAddress: TBA

DESCRIPTION:Visit us in person or watch online! \n\n\n\nApril 26 – Clint Tawes: ‘If You Knew Me Then’ \n\n\n\nThis message explores the power and necessity of transformation. Drawing on the story of Paul’s Damascus Road experience\, it reframes change not as a single dramatic moment\, but as an ongoing\, sacred process of growth\, self-examination\, and becoming. \n\n\n\nClint Tawes is a father of three daughters\, a middle school English teacher\, and an aspiring Unitarian Universalist minister. He is a former ordained Pentecostal minister and is currently in the process of becoming a UU minister. Clint holds a B.A. in English from the College of Charleston and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Starr King School for the Ministry. Clint lives in Charleston\, S.C.\, where he is a member of the Unitarian Church.
