DESCRIPTION:Heart of the Carolinas UU Animal Ministry will be building a fence for beloved dogs. We have all the tools you will need and a friendly group of people to teach you everything you need to know. Just show up and be prepared to have a great time\, meet some new people\, and enjoy seeing some very happy dogs! Organized by Jim Price and Claudia Perkinson. You can reach them by email or by filling out a Contact Form. \n\n\n\nIf you have not been to a fence build in a while\, please join us this Saturday.  We have some new “tricks” that we have learned and a build is usually completed by 11:30 a.m. It’s a great way to help those dogs (and their humans) and spend quality time with like-minded animal lovers. Pat had a seminary professor who said\, “Folks\, don’t try to preach the whole Bible every Sunday.” Pat is going way beyond that. Let’s see whether he can land that plane.

Let’s examine what real love looks like\, as opposed to four of its impostors. \n\n\n\nRev. Dr. Neal Jones is a clinical psychologist for the Pisgah Institute in Asheville\, though he lives in Columbia\, S.C. He earned his B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University\, his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary and his doctorate in psychology from Baylor University. He has served as the minister of five congregations in the Carolinas\, Texas\, and Pennsylvania. He has also served as chair of the national Board of Trustees of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. He presently serves on the national Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Humanist Association.
