DESCRIPTION:Visit us in person or watch online! \n\n\n\n\n\nJune 7 – Rev. Pat Jobe: ‘Marking Time Near Our Birthday’ \n\n\n\nWe might do things five days from now just as we are doing them now\, but what about five years from now? How will we function as a congregation in 2031? Our congregation turns 16 on June 13. How are we doing the things we feel are best about congregational life? We have been challenged to do more. What might that look like? \n\n\n\nShare the Plate this month proceeds will benefit the minister’s discretionary fund. Most of you know that we’re helping folks in financial crisis with these funds. Recent Share the Plate Sundays have come as a surprise to some folks. This one will not.

DESCRIPTION:The Humanist Group will have its quarterly meeting at the Davidson Quaker Meeting House on Sunday\, June 7. https://huumanists.org/local-groups/humanists-lake-norman \n\n\n\nSocial gathering at 4:15 PM followed by the program at 4:30PM. A 30 min video presentation of The Religion of Democracy given by Fish Stark\, Exec. Dir. of the American Humanist Association and a UU Humanist was delivered at the First Unitarian Society ofMinneapolis. It is entertaining as well as enlightening. It will be followed a group discussion. Humanists and UU’s as well as all interested in this life philosophy based on reason and human dignity are welcome.
